Mortimer Family
MayoOughaval (Mayo)
Hello,
I am searching for information on the Mortmer Family from County Mayo. My Great-Grandfather, Michael Mortimer emigrated to the United States from County Mayo sometime around the1880's. He was born approximately 1865-1868 in Ireland. He came to Chicago, Illinois and married my Great-Grandmother, Elizabeth (Lizzie) Matthews. I am new to this type of research and would love to find my ancestrial roots.
Any help would be deeply appreciated.
Patty
