Hi, my great great grandfather was Michael Gaughan and he married Bridget Haran? born 1810? possibly Sligo. There daughter, my great grandmother was Mary Gaughan born I believe at Behymore, Ballina 1832/7. She died at Dumbarton, Scotland on 14th February 1903. The subscription site Roots Ireland shows a February 21 1835 marriage at Ballina (Kilmoremoy) RC church for Michael Gaughan and Bridget Haran.
The RC baptismal records for Ballina parish appear to have a 15 year gap in baptismal records from 1836-1851 which covers when Mary was born. Roots Ireland did have two baptismal records in Ballina
where the parents were Michael Gaughan and Bridget Haran. The family lived in Behy.
Thomas Gaughan baptized November 15 1856
Ellen Gaughan baptized May 22 1859
I also checked another subscription site FindMyPast.ie and located a third baptismal records for an Anne Gaughan baptized August 17 1853.
