Jim:
There are limited records for Kilfian RC parish https://registers.nli.ie/parishes/0749?locale=en Baptisms are only available from 1826-1836.
Checking the subscription site Roots Ireland, I located three Carabine baptismal records for children of James Carabine and Catherine O'Hora.
Bt (likely Bridget) Carabine baptized October 13 1828 (born October 12th)
Pat Carabine baptized February 13 1831 (and born February 10th)
Thomas Carabine baptized January 29 1832 (born January 27th)
Sponsors were Patt Carabine, Jane O'Hora, Farrel Carabine, Bridget Carabine, Patrick O'Hora and Bridget Connor
Looks like they lived in Drinaghan townland Kilfian civil parish.
There could be other children before April 1836 when the records run out. You may want to scan the parish register.
I don't know if we have a volunteer available in that area of North Mayo but you may want to submit a Meet and Greet request. https://irelandxo.com/meet-and-greet

Jim,
The paid site, Roots Ireland, has the following information for James and Catharine:
Their marriage record (13 Feb 1827) indicates he was from the town land of Lacken and she was from Drinahone (correct spelling is Drinaghan).
Their marriage witnesses were Thomas Carabine & Jane Hora. No parents' names were recorded in church records.
Children: Bridget born 12 Oct 1828, residence - Drinaghane, sponsors - Patrick O'Hora & Bridget Connor
Patrick born 10 Feb 1831, residence - Dunahane, sponsors - Farrel Carabine & Bridget Carabine
Thomas born 27 Jan 1832, residence - Drinshane, sponsors - Patt Caragine & Jane O'Hara
I could be incorrect, but I tend to believe that baptism sponsors were siblings of the parents. The different town land spellings are not uncommon...could be a transcription issue.
