Hi there,
I'm looking for a Patrick Walsh born in 1805. (I'm actually uncertain about his first name, but Patrick seems closest.) He was baptized at Kilconduff Parish, and later immigrated to Newfoundland, Canada. Could somebody possibly look up his record for me?
Cheers,
Candice
Hi Candice,
Thank you for your message.
Most Catholic records are still held locally, so I would suggest that you try writing to the local parish priest for possible assistance finding this record. The civil parish of Kilconduff is part of the ROman Catholic parish of Swinford. For the contact details of the clergy at Swinford parish follow this link:

It may also be an idea to contact the North Mayo Family History Centre for assistance as they may have copies of the parish records. However, a fee may apply. Here are their contact details:
Family History Research Centre,
Enniscoe,
Castlehill,
Ballina,
Co. Mayo.

I hope this is helpful.
Best wishes,
