Looking for any living relatives in Ireland or elsewhere. Other names, not necessarily in Islandeady..... Burke (Teveenish), Ludden.
Happy to share information, documents, pictures and more.
Hi,
Thank you very much for your message. I hope that someone connected to the family contacts you! Also, your offer to share information is greatly appreciated, thank you.
It may be an idea to also out a message ?reaching out? in a more local forum such as a newspaper or newsletter. As there were Walsh?s living in the area as recently as the 1970?s there should be someone who knows of the family still there.
Some places where it may be possible for you to do this are:
Mayo Parish Newsletters: http://www.mayo.ie/dnn/NewsSports/ReadSubmitParishNewsletters.aspx#.UcmiUvlQEaI
The Mayo News: http://www.mayonews.ie/
Mayo Advertiser: http://www.advertiser.ie/mayo
Connacht Tribune:http://www.galwaynews.ie/connachttribune
I hope this suggestion is helpful. Please be patient - as our programme has only begun to rollout across the island of Ireland and volunteers in some areas may not yet be organized.
Kind regards,
