Geraghty & Killeen

MayoIslandeady (Mayo)

Looking for any descendants or relatives of the Geraghty's that lived in Carrownaclea at the time of Griffith's.  I am descended from Patrick who emigrated to St. Paul, Minnesota in 1884.  He was the son of Edward.  All of his children were born in Carrownaclea (Carnaclay and about 20 other spellings) and christened in Islandeady parish.

Dear Cath

Welcome to Ireland Reaching Out!

Have you already had a look on rootsireland or familysearch for records of the family? Records for the parish begin in 1839. The National Library are hosting the parish registers for free from 8th July so this is another alternative for you.

Best wishes

Clare Doyle
