Searching for Staunton's

MayoBallintober (Mayo)

I am searching for relatives of my great grandfather Denis Staunton b.1851 d.1918, married Mary Deacy (alternative spellings, Daisey, Dacey) b. 1854 d.1920. Their children include my grandmother Mary b. 1889-1967; Ellen (Nellie) b.1879-1970 (immigrated to US); John b.1882; Thomas b. 1884; Margaret b. 1889; Elizabeth b. 1894.

Denis & Mary resided in 1901 and 1911 on a farm in Dromore, Clogher, Mayo. Several of the children are listed on the census returns. I have no further information about the Stauntons and would like to see if I can make some contact. If anyone has suggestions for me, I would appreciate the help.

Thank you,

Jack

Hi Jack,

In response to your post... Dennis and Mary Staunton are my great grandparents also. I am the grandaughter of Elizabeth Staunton Clark. I just started researching the family history and found your board.
