Michael McCue or McHugh

MayoAchill (Mayo)

~~Michael McCue was born in Irleand in 1829 or 1830. He emigrated from Liverpool to New York, USA on the Ship Yorkshire either in August 1852 with his father also Michael McCue (aged 50) so born in 1801 or 1802 OR with several relatives in December 1851 from Liverpool to New York, USA with Patrick (aged 32), John (22), Martin (22), Pat, Patrick ( 1 month old infant). I found a Michael McCue
(M'Cue) in County Mayo, in the Parish of Achill who had rented land from the Marquis of Sligo. Also there was a Patrick McCue, John, Margaret. No infiormation in USA about County of Irish origin.
I need help to determine if this Achill Michael McCue is my relative ?

Hi Mary

There are 2 baptism records of Michael McHugh 1802 on www.rootsireland.ie/

However both are in Longford.

There are 7 Michael McHugh and 1 McCue 1828-1830 baptisms with 1 in Mayo but not in Achill.

The McCue spelling is 1828 Roscommon.

There are 201 McCues in the Tithe Applotments (free online) but none in Achill.
