Hi,
Records found on RootsIreland, you probably have this info, but it helps volunteers to have additional info. Children- Thomas 1835, John 1837, James 1840, William 1842, and Patrick 1844.
Regards- Mary
Hello Swan 55, St Mary's records for baptism only commence in 1834 and marriages in 1874, the church registers online do not contain any burial information. Civil records commence in 1864 for all but Protestant marriages from 1845. I see no record for the death of Ann Swan post 1864. When and where did John die or do you know.
Making the search more tricky is that St Mary's parish is in the diocese of Meath but geographically in both Louth and Meath with the current church built in the 1880s in Louth.
I can see no relevant Swans in Griffiths Valuation done about 1854 in Louth or late 1853, checked both Louth and Meath.
As Drogheda was a major commercial centre at this time there was a regular boat service to Liverpool (trip about 10 hours I imagine) there was a lot of travel to Liverpool and during the famine years it was the 2nd largest port for emigration, unfortunately as it was one country at the time travel was not recorded. It was also a jumping off point to further afield as in the USA or Canada, the latter was cheaper to go to as it was also part of the empire.
I looked for Annes death in the UK but there are a lot of Anne Swan's dead in the 20 years and on the information on some records is scant so not able to separate them.
There is also the fact that as Mary TV says only 3 births close enough together and and then no more, had they left in the 1840s, the famine from 1845 was not too bad in this area as there was work and they were near fishing ports etc There is a webstite on Louth and an Edward Swan mentioned in Meath but no address in the late 1700s, the site is here and there are some Swan people mentioned in Drogheda.
https://www.jbhall.clahs.ie/index.html If you have more information on the family as they do not appear in the 1901 census in this area it may assist, records for BMDs are mainly available online free on Irish Genealogy site it may be she died prior to 1864 and we will not have a record.
Good Luck
Pat
Thanks to both Pat and Mary for your time and research on my behalf. It has been helpful for further research on my part.

I am Robert Watt, born in Co. Tyrone in 1941, when I went to Crossdernott school in the 1940s the junior school teacher was Miss Fanny Swann, I would say she may have been born in 1890 / 1900, probably at Ballinode, in Co. Monaghan, Miss Swann was buried in the Church of Ireland graveyard attached to Ballinode Church, on the Clones Road, in Co. Monaghan.""

Robert, thanks so much for your response. I hope to make a trip from Co. Kerry to Co. Monaghan to do some research on the Swann family there.
Best,
Rita Swann
