Neacy/Mulholland

We are looking for other family members from the family of John Neacy and Catherine Mulholland who were married

Nov 13, 1794 in Haggardstown Parish, County Louth, Ireland.

So far we have only found the following children for them:

Mary b. 1795, m. Patrick McCooey (this is my husband's line - Mary and Patrick are his 3rd g-grandparents)

Catherine 'Caty' b. 1797

Laurence b. 1803, m. Rose Byrne/O'Byrne (this is a cousin's line that we've met through DNA testing)

POSSIBLY:

Richard m. Ann Brodegan

Margaret

Would love to find out more about John and Catherine and any other children they may have had.

I checked Roots Ireland and found the same three baptismal records. There was a Margaret McNiece record in 1801 but the mother's name was not Mulholland.  In case you don't have the link, here is the parish register

Hello!

My name is Charles Neacy.  I am researching my family history and I have reason to believe that my family line goes back to John Neacy and Catherine Mulholland.  As of now, this is unconfirmed; I am trying to verify this.  If there is a connection, John Neacy would be my GGGGrandfather. They had a son, Laurence Neacy (1803-1884), who married Rose Byrne.  I am attempting to confirm that Laurence/Rose had William Neacy.  I have confirmed that my GGrandfather was William Neacy who was married to Margaret Duffy.  I have confirmed William/Margarets children.  They had 8 children; Patrick Neacy was my Great-Grandfather.  He came to NYC in the late 1890's.

I would appreciate any information that would confirm my connection to Laurence and John.  I am also attempting to identify descendants of my great Aunts/Uncles who stayed in Ireland.  I know of at least 2 who came to NYC.

Thank you for replying.  Since my post I have confirmed that my direct decendants are not related to Lawrence/Rose.  That would have been too easy!!  Still on the hunt to find William's parents!!
