Hi,
Thank you for your message.
Do you have Michael?s birth date from his gravestone? If you do, you may be able to find his birth record/baptismal cert in parish records. This will have his parents? names on it. Most Catholic records are held locally. One website which you may find useful is the irishtimes, where they give an overview of what records are available in specific parishes. Dromiskin Civil Parish is most likely in Darver Roman Catholic parish. To see what records are available in Darver follow this link:
http://www.irishtimes.com/ancestor/fuses/rcparishmaps/index.cfm?fuseaction=showidrecords&CityCounty=Louth&parish=Darver&churchid=207
For Church of Ireland records check http://ireland.anglican.org/about/42 and http://www.nationalarchives.ie/. The Anglican Record Project is has created an index to their records: http://ireland.anglican.org/cmsfiles/pdf/AboutUs/library/AngRecord/bunclodyunionindex.pdf
You could also try searching for some records of the family at www.familysearch.org . This is a huge database of genealogical records which have been complied by the Church of the Latter Day Saints. You may find a family record here that gives you some more information.
I gave you a list of some websites which may be helpful in my response to you on the Creggan parish page, these will also be useful to you here. One addition is:
