I am stuck going back to Ireland with the ancestors of George Eaton born in 1833
He married Mary Buckley.
Looks like he was born in Shanagolden, Ballyhahill, limerick.
I have all his descendents but nothing in the tree above him

Ballyhahill Parish did not start recording baptisms and marriages until 1855.

I saw on Ancestry that his brother James and him went to New Zealand. Have you checked marriage or death records. Sometimes they include parents' names.

I assume George was Church of Ireland? Shanagolden C of I baptismal records start in 1879. I was unable to locate the marriage record. Did they marry in Ireland.
