Hi Jill,
I have information on Mortimer Hayes of Knockballyfookeen, Pallasgreen. Are you still looking for information?
Thanks
Jill
Hello
Yes I am.
I am in Melbourne, Australia, so its rather difficult to find records. Lots of things online, but apart from the census records of 1900 and 1911, its been a long and difficult task to find anything more current about Mortimer of Knockballyfookeen, Pallasgreen.
I recently found another descendent from this clan here in Melbourne also, who had a copy of a letter from Mortimer's nephew that mentions Mortimer Hayes had a daughter Judy who was living in the same Hayes house in Pallasgreen. That was back in the 1960s I think.
All the best to you and how are you related to Hayes.
Cheers
Jill Savage (missjill1000@hotmail.com)
