Kelly (kilcommon)

Hi

Not sure what records you have checked yet

You can work backwards, firstly checking the Census in 1901+ 1911  Quite a few Kelly names in Kilcommon

http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/search/results.jsp?census_year=19…

The Griffiths Valuations in the 1850's -Kelly Families in Kilcommon

http://www.askaboutireland.ie/griffith-valuation/index.xml?action=doNam…

If you see a name that is familiar to you, you can check the map to locate the townland of origin.

The Tithe Applotment 1823-37 showing the Kelly's  in Kilcommon

http://titheapplotmentbooks.nationalarchives.ie/search/tab/results.jsp?…

Hope some of the above are of help to you, I am not sure what records you have already searched.

Feel free to ask further questions ...I am not from this area, but maybe I could answer general questions and someone with more knowledge of the area may be able to help further.

Good Luck with your research

i have consulted all of these sources. some have proven to be useful but still quite confused as there appears to be 2 unrelated famlies in the one parish.
