Joseph Keane 1831

LimerickFedamore (Limerick)

Researching my possible great grandfather Joseph Keane, baptized in Fedamore on 4 March 1831; parents Joseph Keane and Helen Griffin, sponsors John Griffin and Joanna Costello.  Joseph died in Chicago, IL USA in 1887 and was a shoemaker; married Margaret Woods from Limerick.

Jim:

I searched the subscription site Roots Ireland and located a baptismal record for an older brother John Keane baptized April 20 1829 father Joseph Keane and mother Ellen Griffin. I did not locate a Joseph Keane/Margaret Woods marriage record so they likely married in America.
