I am looking for any information on Eileen Hayes of Croagh who left Ireland for Canada in 1966.
Eileen was in her early twenties and may have married an Irish lad named Tom who was in the Merchant Marine.
Any information would be very welcome.
Thank you,
Thomas.

Welcome to Ireland Reaching Out!
Due to government privacy restrictions, there is very little information we can access regarding Eileen's birth or marriage record. Birth data is only available up to 1915 and marriage data up to 1940.
I did locate a Hayes family in Croagh in the 1911 census and possibly Eileen's father was either Daniel or John.

Hello Hugh,
I regret that I cannot help you regarding Ellen Hayes.
Ellen Hayes may be related to the family of Eileen Hayes from Croagh,Rathkeale Limerick who I am seeking information on.
I hope you are successful in your search.

Thomas.
Hi Thomas,
We may have a connection as my great grandmother was born a Hayes. Are you on Ancestry.com at all? I have had my DNA checked by them.
Would be great to maybe connect?
Cheers,
Tony
Hi Tony,
Apologies for the late reply ,I am have just spent two weeks in hospital with a broken thigh and am trying to catch up with my email.
Thank you for your reply re the Hayes family.
I am not on Ancestry .com.
My friend Eileen Hayes ( Croagh Limerick) moved to Canada in search of work 51 years ago and may have returned to Ireland since then.
I know there are Hayes in Croagh,Limerick and may have to enquire there in the hope that someone may know the whereabouts of Eileen.
Hi There Thomas,
Sorry to read of your injury. I hope you heal quick. Thanks for replying.
Cheers,
Tony
