I'm trying to locate the descendants of John OGrady and/or Mary OGrady- siblings. John Born 1908 and Mary 1906. Parents - Terence OGrady and Catherine Sheahan. They Catherine's father - Patrick at number 13 according to the 1911 census.
Hi Jeanette
There are 61 O'Gradys in Cappagh, Limerick in the irish phone book.

thanks col
thats a lot of people to call. i note they are not in Cappagh, but in the vicinty to some extent. Some much further away. would I be right in assuming to start calling those you live closest to Cappagh? I hope Google maps can help :)
Jeanette
My great grandmother Mary Sheahan was from Cappagh, she was married there and then lived in Askeaton which is close by. What is interesting is the only Sheahans in the 1901 and 1911 census returns are one family. Patrick Sheahan could well be her father, unfortunately I don't know his name. I do know that she had a sister and Catherine could well be her. Do you have any info on the Sheahan family?
