Looking for descendants of Daniel GORMAN who married Margaret TRACEY in 23 NOV 1825 in Kilcornan, Limerick. Their son James was born 27 JUN 1830 in Askeaton, Anne born 08 SEP 1831 Askeaton, John born 31 DEC 1835 and Daniel born 23 DEC 1846. James went to Bristol, England and married Peggy Cahill, John and Daniel went to USA - Connecticut, Ohio and settled in Peoria, Illinois.

Do you know much about their emigration? The dates, the reason why they left, who they may have travelled with?..etc..Generally more information was given at the port of arrival rather than the port of departure. If you knew which city they arrived at (e.g. Liverpool, New York, etc.), this could be a good place to find more information. -

or the later Griffith's Valuation (1848-64) http://www.askaboutireland.ie/griffith-valuation/
or the Church of Latter Day Saints (LDS) https://familysearch.org/ for the family or their relatives?
