Good Afternoon
Welcome to Ireland Reaching Out and apologies for the delay in replying to your message.
As you can see from the link below, Ardcanny is a Civil Parish in Limerick:
http://www.irishtimes.com/ancestor/fuses/townlands/index.cfm?fuseaction=TownlandsInCivil&civilparishid=1513&civilparish=Ardcanny&citycounty=Limerick
Pallaskenry is a townland in the Civil Parish of Chapelrussell:
http://www.irishtimes.com/ancestor/fuses/townlands/index.cfm?fuseaction=TownlandsInCivil&civilparishid=1538&civilparish=Chapelrussell&citycounty=Limerick
Records for the corresponding Roman Catholic Parish of Kildimo and Castlerussell begin in 1831 for baptisms and 1851 for marriages.
Even though it seems that these parish records do not start early enough, it would be a good idea to search the sites listed below anyway, in case you are incorrect in relation to their place of birth/townland of origin. Limerick Genealogy also has an interesting website: http://www.limerickgenealogy.com/sources.php
As an aside you could also check the Iirsh Newspaper Archive for any recorded instance of your ancestor's name: http://www.irishnewsarchive.com/ in the local news
Remember to post any new information that you find here. The more information you post, the more likely it is that one of our volunteers will be able to advise or assist you. Also include information concerning which sources you may have already used so others may further your search.
Best of luck with your search
Clare Doyle
