John Bergin/Elizabeth McLaughlin

LaoisRathdowney (Laois)

Looking for a John Bergin, born about 1790 who married an Elizabeth McLaughlin about 1810, had at least one child about 1813 and left Ireland for New Brunswick Canada about 1818. Thanks.

Hi Jon,

There is a record of the baptism of John Bergin born 1787 in Laois on www.rootsireland.ie/

The parish is Rathdowney

It costs to view the record but it would have his father's name to help you keep working back

I could not find the marriage record or the births of any children.
