Welcome to Ireland Reaching Out!

Civil registration did not start in Ireland until 1864 so only church records are available pre-1864. Here is the link to the online parish register for Kells RC church.

I would search the register for the baptismal record for Philip.

I looked for a civil death index record for Philip in 1922. I'm wondering if the family kept the name of the store even after Philip died. http://search.findmypast.ie/record?id=ire%2fbmd%2fd%2f626859660

You can get a copy of this record from the General Register Office for around 4 euros. if you want to get a copy let me know and I will forward instructions.
