My great grandfather Michael O'Gorman states on his enlistment papers that he was born in 1837 in Inistioge, Kilkenny. There is one baptism that matches but I have proved that not to be my ancestor. Has anyone any information on O'Gorman family in Inistioge?

Welcome to Ireland Reaching Out!
There was an 1835 Michael Gorman baptized in Inistioge. I located this record on the subscription site Roots Ireland. See below. Michael may have adjusted his age when he enlisted.
Also the 1949 Griffiths Valuation head of household listing shows five Gorman households https://www.failteromhat.com/griffiths/kilkenny/inistioge.htm
