Lee / Morrissy (or Morrissay)

I'm searching for records for my great grandfather John Henry LEE, who listed his place of birth as Kells, Kilkenny. However his older (illegitimate) brother Patrick LEE was baptised in this parish in December 1865. I can't find marriage records for Patrick LEE and Ellen MORRISSEY/MORRISSY or John Henry, so perhaps they moved to Kells after Patrick was born.

I'm currently sitting on the banks of the Barrow River, wondering what their life was like, if there's anyone who can help shed some light.

I searched for a John Lee baptismal record or civil birth record using the parents listed and did not find a record. Any additional information? Did the family stay in Ireland?

Both brothers (Patrick and John) came to Australia in the 1880s, so perhaps their parents had died by then.
