Thomas Brown ----- Farmer.

KilkennyAharney (Kilkenny)

Hi, I am trying to trace My Great Grandfather called Thomas Brown a Farmer who lived some where in Co. Laois in the 1840s 1850s. His wife Anne, formerly Balantine or Valentine was a great favourite of my Father John Brown. I would really like to find her.. Please help if you can. Cheers: Don Brown.

Don:

The Griffiths Valuation was conducted in Co. Laois in 1850. I searched www.askaboutireland.ie and there were only four Thomas Browne (no Brown) records all in Killabban civil parish. You may want to check out these records as possible leads.
