I was sent these photos of women taken in Tralee. I know it is a long shot, but maybe someone out there knows who they are?
May Devine (born in Co. Kerry 1882) had these pictures in San Francisco, CA. No other information was provided.
Re Photos
Dear Lisa, these are beautiful photos! The Daly family were working as photographers in 1901 http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1901/Kerry/Tralee/Cloon_More/1429868/ and in 1911 http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1911/Kerry/Tralee_Urban__part_of_/Nelson_Street/282253/
Do you know if this family William Devine and Catherine Griffin are any relation to your May?
William & Catherine married in Tralee in 1879

With your permission I'd like to post your pictures on Facebook on some of the Kerry pages to see if this would help us get a response?? Please let me know if you would be ok with this
Warm wishes
Martine
Yes, please post them. Which facebook pages, maybe I should follow them too!
I will have to look at the Devine records. I know that the family is listed as Devane in Ireland, but changed to Devine when they came to the U.S.
Most of the Devanes that I know of lived in Ballymacelligot.

Kerry Family History Society is the Facebook page Lisa and I've just posted them up. If I think of other pages I'll put them up there too and let you know.
Fingers crossed!!!!
