Hello. A decendant of Thadeus Slattery (parents were Patrick & Jane (Trant) Slattery) of Curravough, Tralee is hoping to make contact with any Kerry decendant please. She will be visiting Kerry in August and would love to visit the family grave and old homestead if possible. Thadeus maried Ellen (Ellena) Glavin and he died in 1871 while Ellen lived to 1907. I located at least three children of Thadeus Slattery and Ellen Glavin-- Johana 1862 Edmund 1864 Thadeus 1871

Do you know which children emigrated? I can't find Ellen Slattery in Curravoagh (Curravogh) in the 1901 census. The informant when Ellen died was Norah Glavin of Garrane (a nearby townland). No relationship indicated. Perhaps Norah was a niece to Ellen?

If none of Ellen's children remained in Ireland, it may be difficult to find descendants.
