Looking for Wilfred Walsh & Mary Sullivan (Kerry and Cork)

Kerry

Hi there,

I am desperately seeking any information about a Wilfred Walsh supposedly born in Kerry County. He would have emigrated to Newfoundland, Canada sometime between 1800-1860. He was married to a Mary Sullivan from County Cork.

I absolutely cannot find any information on this man, and would appreciate any leads at all!

Thank you,

Candice

Dear Candice,

I have found one Winifred here,

http://churchrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/details/565bfe0036534

and another here in the 1901 Census

http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1901/Kerry/Killehenny/Killehenny/1419835/ but Winifred is a girl. I have only ever known this as a girls name. It is however an unusual name so we may be lucky. Do you know anything about the parents or siblings of either one of the couple.

I really look forward to hearing more.
