Hi Jeb,

Connors is a pretty common name in Kerry.  Before trying to narrow down the family in Kerry  records, perhaps you could locate more info about the family in the U.S.  For instance, do you have Catherine's death record, obituary, headstone information, will? This might give info about the townland in Kerry and also her parents' names; that would make it easier to identify her in Irish records.  You might look at the same sort of records for Mary and Ellen. Also, I have sometimes seen parent's place of origin mentioned in birth/baptismal records, so be sure to check these for Mary and Ellen's children. I hope this is helpful.

WOW, quick response.  Tks for the replies.  I have those records.  You've definitely found the right person/family.  I have not been able to find Catherine's death record anywhere.  I think she was probably buried in the same cemetery as her daughter but have not be able to confirm.

Mary stated on 3 of her 10 children's birth records that she came from County Kerry.  Mary's Ganey husband also stated he came from County Kerry.  The other clue I have is in the 1900 Fed. Census, Catherine Connors she had 7 children, 6 living.  In 1910 Census, it stated she had 6 children, 5 living.  So there was a fairly large family.  Ancestry DNA matches have been of little help.  Of all the Connor descendants (Connor(s) and Ganey), thus far I have the most information.

Ellen's children birth records only state she and her husband came from Ireland.  Have been unable to find Ellen's death record.

I've searched the Catholic parish records for County Kerry and came up with 3 possible candidate Connor families.  I've eliminate one family completely and a 2nd one appears to be highly unlikely.  I'm trying to confirm the 3rd from an unbiased perspective.  It is a John Connor and Catherine Higgins family from Doonamountane (Ballyheigue Parish), County Kerry. They had a Patrick b. 1 Feb 1859, Maurice b. 20 Jul 1860 John b. 23 Nov 1862 as well as Mary and Ellen.  So far I have not been able to trace Patrick, Maurice or John determine if they are part of my family.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.
