My great-great grandfather Timothy Warren was murdered by his neighbors in 1859 after winning a court case. His brother Jeremiah and brother-in-law John Hussey were also attacked. I found the story and the trial in old newspapers and I wondered if this kind of thing was common or not in the West at that time. I still cannot find an actual death record for Timothy.Any ideas?
