I am in the Tralee area and was hoping to discover some identification details about William Carrique's parents. He was born in Ballinooher parish around 1787. Around 1820 he married Margaret Stanton O'Connor who was born around 1793. They emigrated to Canada after they married and had a son, Henry in 1830.

Catholic records for Ballinvoher begin in 1809, so although you may not be able to find the couple?s birth records you still may be able to find their marriage record. Sometimes marriage records have the couple?s fathers? names listed.
