Welcome to Ireland Reaching Out!

I have forwarded your query to a Tralee volunteer who may be able to give you some pointers.

Welcome Susan,

Here is a map of the Civil Parish of Tralee townlands including Curravough

Have you found these other possible siblings?

It would be worth a search on irishgenealogy.ie to see if any of these married if you haven't done so already.

map for Pinure is here

Timothy Almon (please note the different spelling of the name) is listed in Griffith's Valuation as having a farm in Pinure, Civil Parish of Clogherbrien in 1853

The 1901 Census lists 10 Allmans living in Curravough of 72 in County Kerry (plus 8 with the spelling Alman)

Do let me know if you already have this information Susan or if anything pops for you.

Warm wishes

Martine

Thank you for this information re Timothy's siblings. Many left Ireland and settled in Waterbury, CT. I have information on many of these siblings except the sister Kate - who by family 'story' died in Japan while she was with her sister Bridget and Bridget's husband Walter Ramage. Bridget died in San Francisco a month after the 1906 Earthquake and Fire.

Regards - and many thanks!

Susan
