Mary:
Welcome to Ireland Reaching Out!
I searched on www.irishgenealogy.ie and did not find a baptismal record for Ellen. The Ballylongford parish register has baptismal records from 1823 to May of 1838 although the main page indicates that many pages are missing/mutilated. http://registers.nli.ie/parishes/0654 Also there is a 31 year gap from May 1838-October 1869.
The 1852 Griffiths Valuation head of household listing for Aghavallen civil parish shows about 50 Enright records so the surname was very prominent in the parish. http://www.failteromhat.com/griffiths/kerry/aghavallen.htm
You may want to consider autosomal DNA testing. Possibly you will match someone with Enright connections.

I, too, am looking for an Enright from this same area. My 2xG-Grandparents were Patrick and Hanora (Enright) Finnegan. I have been going through DNA test results for 9-12 months and it seems that prior to their departure for North America, the family name was Finucan(e). I recently found a marriage record for a Patrick Finucan and (bride's name not recorded) from Doonard in the Ballylongford Parish on 1 Mar 1848. The date and location looked perfect (their first child was born 13 months later), so I wrote to Ballylongford Parish to see if they could find the record. I received an email from Fr. Buckley that simply said that, as far as he knew, the records only go back to 1869.
I've written back to Fr. Buckley and asked this very question - Is there another older church in the area that may have been the source of this partially recorded record? I would like to ask you the same question - where might I find someone who could access this record to get a copy? The bride's name may have been illegible (and therefore not recorded) but I'd like to see the original.
As for Mary's query, I'd like to know if she has done a DNA test, and where she tested. I've written to over a hundred matches who have Enrights in there tree and I'd like to discuss this with her. Is it permissible to put my email address here so she (or anyone else searching for Enrights) could contact me?

Jerry:
I assume you located the record on Roots Ireland. The National Library has copies of the parish register for Ballylongford which includes marriage records for 1826-1837 with one gap.https://registers.nli.ie/parishes/0654?locale=en Roots Ireland must have located marriage records for Ballylongford for the 1830s/1840s/1850s and added them to their database. For some reason there are two records for each marriage. For the Patrick Finucane marriage in 1848, there is one record showing no name for the wife from Doonard but the other record shows Hanora from Doonard. I copied the transcription below. Ten years ago, Roots Ireland had no Co. Kerry records. They have been slowly adding records over the years. I tried to find a contact point in Co. Kerry for Roots Irelandbut did not find any info on the website.
We generally discourage users from adding their email addresses on a message but there is no prohibition if you want to leave your email address. The original message was posted in 2016. When a comment is made on a message, a notification email is sent to the person who posted the message. However, we currently have a program bug where the notification email does not provide a link back to the original message.
You could also search on our message board for all Enright messages and you may get some in Co. Kerry
