Hi Diane

Thanks for your query.  I have been on to the parish priest in Tynagh and according to the baptismal records there were two Michael Joseph Lyons baptised in Tynagh parish, one in 1826 and the other in 1919.

I don't think either matches your search.  If you knew which townsland in Tynagh your ancestor came from, this would help.

Please don't hesitate to contact me if i can be of further assistance.

Kind regards

Therese

You mention Margaret Broderick being the daughter of Patrick Broderick.   Do you know any more about her?   My great great grandfather was Patrick Broderick.   He lived in the Killeenadeema/Derrybrien area of Loughrea.    I have a  listing of his children but no Margaret, but the list may not be complete.   Married Catherine Boyle in 1836.  Most of the family immigrated to the Boston area, specifically Hyde Park.
