My Grandfather Joseph Connolly lived in a stone cottage in Ros Muc

GalwayRosmuc (Galway)

Hello fellow members :-) I just joined here and my grandfather Joseph Connolly was born and raised in a stone cottage by the sea in Ros Muc  Will post photo of cottage and photos of him shortly.  I know I have relatives in the area and plan to visit and meet them this spring. God bless you all

James, Oughterard Community Site oughterardheritage.org has a list of baptisms for the parish of Rosmuc -- 1840 to 1880 posted by Susan Toulsan. Not all baptisms may be included. The surname "Conneely" is more prominent in that parish rather than "Connolly" The following free site may be of interest to you - www.askaboutireland.ie -- Griffith's House and Land Valuations 1850's Regards,
