Dear 'Zeus'

Can you add some more information that could help narrow down the Peter Higgisn that you mean - what were his siblings' and parents' names and where were they born ?

What year was Peter born and where ?

Do you have an area of Moylough that he came from?

Thanks

Martin

Peter & Martin, I think we may all be from the same family. I am searching for info on my great grandparents Peter and Mary Higgins from Galway. Came to New York City around 1909, had my grandmother Mary Ellen in 1910 and a son Joseph Patrick in 1912 and then the family moved back to Ireland around 1916. Mary came back to the US and married Dick Mooney in NYC in 1933.

Hello,

I am also a relative of Peter and Mary Higgins from Moylough. My grandfather is Joseph Patrick, born in New York in 1912 who moved back to Ireland, I think in 1916 and later moved to England where he met and married my grandmother Vera. They raised my dad and 5 other children in Yorkshire. Hoping to find more information on my ancestry.

higginsa,

We're related! My grandmother Mary Ellen and your grandfather Joseph were sister and brother. I have built out a family tree on Ancestry and can share my side if you want to see it. Reach out to me at mjodea68@gmail.com. Great to hear from you! And Peter and Martin Curley, please fell free to reach out as well to take this offline.
