Welcome to Ireland Reaching Out!

The RC records for Moylough start in 1835 for marriages and 1848 for baptisms. Ellen Rohan must have been from a different parish because I did not locate marriage record on Roots Ireland and I searched all East Galway parishes.. Marriages were normally held in the bride's parish.

Since Patrick was born in 1806, records for his ancestors including Laurence will not be available.

I also looked for Tithe records for Laurence with no success.

The only Grahm in the 1855 Griffiths Valuation head of household listing for Moylough was a William Graham. Not sure how he might be connected to Laurence and Patrick.

You may want to post Patrick's story on our XO Chronicles site https://www.irelandxo.com/ireland-xo/history-and-genealogy/ancestor-dat…

You mayn also want to consider autosomal DNA testing.

Thank you for your help. Believe they were married In Eyrecourt Galway circ. 1840    We know they arrived in Australia by 1842 where they had 4 children   We have been unable to establish on what ship they arrived on as we believe they were unassisted passengers   Any further help would be appreciated

Thanks
