Help Find Ancestor

Galway

I am looking for the parents of Mary Elizabeth Quigley NEE Burke born in 1835 in County Galway and died Sept 29, 1910 in a workhouse in Clifden. She was married to Michael Quigley, a farmer, 1824-1905. I am trying to find out if Mary Burke is a sister to my great great grandfather Micheal Burke. Help is much appreciated. They were Roman Catholic. I am curious if her father was John Burke, b: 1810 in Clifden and her mother Mary Kane or Pain born 1810, location unknown.

SBurke,

1901 Irish census has a Michael Quigley and a Mary Quigley - Wife - in the parish of Omey (Clifden)

There are two records for a Burke in the parish in Form B1.

The record may help to identify the various families.

There is a record of a Michael Quigley in the townland of Glenbracken.

He was before the Petty Sessions court for permitting his animals to trespass.

Regards,

McCoy
