it was more of a dip of the toe to test the waters as a lot of the dates I saw on here were quite old and I wasn't sure if it was still active.
Canavan is the surname I am searching primarily as that is my current "brick wall" is my most distant ancestor is Carbery Canavan b.1771 in Headford. He died in 12, Aug.1872 in Headford. He married Margaret Mondane or McNally (b.1795- d. unknown)
9, Aug. 1823 at Abbey Knockmoy. 1865 they resided on High St. in Headford
They had a son James Canavan Sr. (b. abt 1824-d.14, Aug. 1908 Headford) 1901 census shows James living in Headford
