Margaret Connaughton Galway

I am seeking help with information on Margaret Connaughton who arrived in Sydney NSW in March 1861 aged 20 on the ship Queen Bee. She was a farm servant who was RC and could read. I haven’t found her Baptism and hope you can help me with that. She was born around 1838 to 1840 and her home town is Killereran Galway. Her parents were Michael Connaughton and Elenora/Ellen Melledy or Melody. Hoping there are some siblings as well. I am connected via DNA to a distant relative in the USA through Margaret. They seem to think that perhaps a child was taken over who was related to the Connaughton’s. Margaret married and lived till her 70’s in Australia. This is her wedding photo from 1866. Hi and thank you so much. I found her parents names on a document on the microfilm at the Society of Genealogists in Sydney probably 40 years ago. I must have seen the marriage certificate all those years ago from St Mary’s Cathedral Sydney.

Unfortunately, baptismal records only date back to 1870 and civil records to 1864.

Ellen probably filled out the 1841-51 census form info request because her birth/ baptismal were not recorded.
