John and Patrick Silk
GalwayGrange (Galway)
My ggrandfather Patrick Silk was born in Beech Hill in 1861 to John Silk and Bridget Molloy. He came to San Francisco in 1883 and a year later, after John died, Bridget followed him with his siblings James, Michael, Delia (Bridget), Mary, Annie, and Kate. John's parents were probably Michael Silk and Bridget Ward. Are there any Silks left in the area?
