Hi,
Thank you for your message.
Once again I would suggest looking at Church, Land and Civil registration records in order to try and find more information on the family. I gave these links to you on your message on the Drumachose parish page.
As there was contact made with Val as early as 1930, it may be a good idea to also place this message in a more local forum. As Val was still in the area within living memory someone may recognise the name and make a connection with you. Some possible places you could do this are:
The Galway Advertiser: http://www.advertiser.ie/galway
The Connaught Tribune: http://www.galwaynews.ie/connachttribune
Alternatively toy could try contacting Galway Family History Society West for assistance- a fee may apply.

Hi! I believe I may be part of this family! We believe our family was from the area of Balliconneely. My Great-great-grandfather was born (I believe) sometime in the 1850-1860s. His name was Thomas Conneely. He had a son (my great grandfather) in 1889 in NJ, Thomas Thaddeus Conneely. I do not know much about my great or great great grandfathers. Perhaps you can help!!
Great-great granddaughter of Thomas Conneely.
I also found that there was a Catherine Conneely born in 1883 and a Mary Elizabeth Conneely born in 1881, in Newark, NJ. I don't know if they are also children of My great great grandfather, Thomas Conneely. They would have been my great grandfather, Thomas Thaddeus Conneely's (1889) older sisters or cousins??? I don't know if there is a relationship between them and my grandfathers.
Please contact me if you read these replies. I know your post is a year old.
