JOHN and ELLEN (Killilea) FORDE , Corrandulla Annaghdown

Hi Deborah

Michael Forde was baptised in Corrandulla church on 18th September 1881. I have information on Patrick Forde's family who remained on the family farm.

Please contact me at gerlisheen@gmail.com for details.

Hi Deborah:

Thank you for your query to the Ireland Reaching Out message board.  We have a local volunteer (along with Gerard) who will be delighted to meet you when you visit Annaghdown.  I'm going to forward this post to him and he will reply via this thread.  Thanks for your interest in Ireland Reaching Out and have a wonderful trip to Ireland.  Please let us know if you have any questions.

All the best,

Jane

Thank you Jane.  I am so pleased to hear from you and Gerald about my Fordes.  Hopefully my daughters and I will be able to find our way around your lovely area. I am especially eager to see the places my grandfather must have spent some time.  My father remembers that his father talked fondly about Lough Corrib often.

Deborah (Forde) Barchard

Hello Jane, Paul, Gerald, et al.

My trip is around the corner! We will be checking in to The Thatched Cottage B&B in Claregalway on May28 and checking out on May 31.  Unfortunately, I never received a reply from Gerald regarding my FORDE family and I'm not sure how to meet up with any other of the volunteers.

Please advise?
