Help finding info on Convey family in Enniskillen

Hello, just found this group!

I’m an Irish citizen from birth. My father was born in Dublin, 1947. His father was born in Fermanagh, 1914. My last name “Convey” is interchangeable with “Conway” in a lot of my ancestors’ records that I’m found.

• My dad: Vincent Micheal Patrick Convey (born 1947 in Dublin, living)

• My grandad: Francis Robert Convey (born 1914 in Fermanagh, died 1983 in Dublin)

• My great-grandad: Francis Joseph Convey/Conway (born 1880 in Fermanagh, died 1965 in same place)

My problem is my great-great-grandad: Thaddeus (also recorded Thadeus and Thady) Convey/Conway. He was born between 1837-1843 (I think - lots of conflicting information) in Fermanagh, died 1916 same place.

And then I’ve hit a dead end. I can’t find any birth records for Thaddeus, nor a marriage record for him and his wife Bridget McManus (m. 1863 in Killesher) before they were before civil records.

They had a son, also called Thaddeus, who died in 1915 at Gallipoli, so frustratingly any records searches I make often think they are the same person.

Anyone able to provide any help/suggest my next steps?
