Phibbs gmail who came to Preston 1840s

FermanaghBoho (Fermanagh)

I am trying to find any information about my Great Grandmother Ann Phibbs born c1829 in Bono.

She married my Great Grandfather James Wells in Preston Lancashire 1854.

With her in Preston were Sister Mary Sister Catherine and Brother Patrick maybe later known as Richard.

Any information will be much appreciated.

There are several Phibbs on the Fermanagh gold site.

search.atavus.org

None are your Anne but they may help get any idea of the name distribution. Boho (pronounced bow as in bow and arrow) most of the records C of I were lost. Surviving covers period 1840 - 1933.
