James and Jean McKibben of Skerries

DublinSkerries (Dublin)

Looking for anyone who might have known James Nelson McKibben or his sister Jean Scott McKibben of Skerries. James was born in 1893, and both James and Jeandied in 1970. Their parents were Alex McKibben (his parents were Alexander McKibbenand mother Anne, both born in Ireland)and Jane Scott, and the former family house is located across the road from Leinster Hydraulics, Longfield, Balcunnin,Skerries. I am trying to find any present McKibbenrelatives still in Ireland (orelsewhere)and also information on where in Scotland the family was originally from.I am related throughAlex's sister Mary Jane, the aunt of James and Jean. We have birth and deathrecords for Mary Jane's parents and siblings but that is allwereally know about the family. You can contact me at jswiens@comcast.net.

Thank you,

Susan

Hi Susan

I just checked the Irish phone book here. There are only 3 residential and one business hit in Ireland and none in Dublin.

http://www.eircomphonebook.ie you might like to try writing to some of them.
