john mcgurk moved to belfast from pasage west some time about 1890,s  to work at the harland shipyards as a platers helper.born about 1875 married 1895 ish  to rose anne .his fathers name could of been james as first son named james ,second son john  4 other children lived in altcar st west belfast up to 1940,s
