Unanswered Query- Charles and Mary O'Reilly-Dublin

Dublin

I previously sent two requests which I maybe didn't explain correctly, they both were kindly answered and useful information given but not to my actual query I submitted and the Message Board marked 'Answered'

I am desperately trying to find the birth dates, dates of death and parents of my 2nd Great Grandparents Charles O'Reilly and Mary Dalton. I have all the information about their children:

Charles born 1863 baptised St Pauls, Arran Quay Dublin,Christina (1866) and Margaret (1864) both baptised St Nicholas,St Francis Street Dublin.

I would be very grateful for any new information.

Julie,

Carolyn did say in her reply that she had searched for the couple’s marriage but could not find it. So I think you did get an answer to part of your question.

You presumably know a bit more about the family than is in your posts. Did they stay in Dublin or did some leave? Are they in the 1901 census? If so, what are their places of birth? All through the 1800s folk came up to Dublin and other cities for work. So we can’t say with any certainty where they were born or where they married, can we? It’s a needle in a haystack without some more information.

The marriage might have been anywhere in Ireland, or it might have been in Dublin in a church whose records are lost or otherwise not available on-line. No way of knowing at the moment.

Thank you very much for your time looking into this for me.

Kind regards
