Would you know the mother's name, first and last?

About how old would Patricia be?

Do you know what kind of work she did?

You met in Dublin...is that where she lived?

Thanks for your reply Patricia! I think Patricia must be in her 60s by now. The mother's name I have no idea...At the time she must have been in her 70s. So in her 90s+ now if still alive.

All the info I have is that my paternal grandmother, Edith O'Dowd, was from Dalkey, and she had six sisters and a brother born in the 1890s. When I visited Dublin in 2000 Patricia and her mother were the remaining relatives, so I am assuming Patricia's mother was the niece of my grandmother.

Edith O'Reilly and her husband Bernard Naden moved back to England (Dudley I believe) after my father's birth in 1926 and in 1930 the family emigrated to New Zealand.

Yes Patricia and her mother lived in Dublin but it wasn't Dalkey.

I know I have very little information and my parents have both passed so I can't ask them but I found this website and thought it was worth a try!

I see on Ancestry numerous public family trees for the O'Dowd-Nadens. Have you contacted the owners of the trees to see if any of them have knowledge of Patricia or her mother? That might be a help.
