Ann Moriarty (Kimmage, Dublin)

Dublin

3 October 2026

Dear Fellow Member of Irelandxo Reaching Out,

May I please ask for any assistance that you may offer in obtaining contact information for Ann Moriarty?

Please allow me to explain further.

My name is James Miller and I live in San Francisco, California.  My dearest friend, Molly Clark, and her husband who live also in San Francisco are currently visiting the West coast of Ireland.  They will soon be traveling to Dublin and its vicinity and they have asked me to contact Irelandxo Reaching Out.

Molly and Ann Moriarty both attended the University of Warwick in 1976 and became good friends.  However, they lost touch with each other over these many years.  Molly would like to communicate and, hopefully, see Ann once again while Molly and her husband are in Dublin soon.

Ann was born in Tullamore.  The only current information that we have been able to find regarding Ann is in an April 2026 obituary of Ann’s sister, Úna Moriarty.  Úna died on 13th April 2026 and her funeral service was conducted by Fanagans (Kimmage) of Lower Kimmage Road, Dublin 6W, D6WN279.  Úna’s obituary was published on 14th April 2026 and it states the following:

The death has occurred of Úna Moriarty (Kimmage, Dublin / Tullamore, Offaly)

Úna Moriarty (Kimmage, Dublin and Late of Tullamore, Co. Offaly) 13th April 2026.  Predeceased by her parents Margaret and Mortimer and her brother-in-law Mike.  Úna will be very dearly missed by her sisters Ann, Brad and Geraldine and her brother Brendan, sister-on-law Hazel, brother-in-law Tom, her adored nieces and nephews Seán, Kate, Mark, Katherine, Heather and beloved grandnephew Liam, also her relatives, wide circle of good friends and great neighbors.

Rest in Peace

Reposing at Fanagans Funeral Home, 92 Lower Kimmage Road (D6WN279) on Thursday evening (April 16th) from 5pm to 7pm.  Removal on Friday morning to the church of St. Paul of the Cross, Mount Argus (D6W XR66) for Funeral Mass at 10am followed by cremation at Mount Jerome Crematorium, Harold’s Cross (D6W HY98).  Family flowers only please.  Donations may be made to a charity of your choice.

We would so very much appreciate any assistance that you may offer in obtaining contact information for Ann Moriarty.

My most sincere and kind regards,

James Miller
