Looking for McKernan / Hannan Families

Hello!

I am looking for any possible information about my McKernan / Hannan family. My 4x great grandparents are Thomas McKernan (born approx. 1791 in Co. Down) and Mary Murray (born approx. 1800 in Co. Down). I believe they were married approx. 1830. They have a daughter, Mary McKernan, born approx. 1832 in Co. Cavan. I believe she may have married Thomas Hannan (born approx. 1829, Co. unknown). 

I believe they immigrated to Scotland, as Mary Murray died approx. 1851 in Aberdeen and Mary McKernan and Thomas Hannan had a son, Daniel, born approx. 1856 in Dundee. I have no further record of Thomas McKernan.

I would love any information/records that might help reconstruct a timeline of events or confirm that any of the records I’ve been given are correct.

There are 25 trees on Ancestry for this family. They provide similar info with what you shared above. One with a username: HanFnkTree has researched your family.

According to this tree Mary had a two siblings Bernard 1831-1886 and a twin Margaret 1832. They all went to Aberdeen and Mary's mother died before the 1851 census.

At some point Thomas McKernan returns to Ireland and dies in 1867 in Woteraghy, Cavan.

Mary must have married Thomas between 1951-1855. They had 8 children. The last were twins born in 1872. Per the 1910 census, they came to Patterson, New Jersey in 1887. Mary had died before the 1900 census. Thomas died in 1923.
